Pistons' Stuckey cleared for exercise

Auburn Hills, MI (Sports Network) - Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey has been cleared to exercise after a heart evaluation, just five days after collapsing on the bench during a game.

Last Friday, Stuckey collapsed on the bench during a game against the Cavaliers and was taken away on a stretcher.

He was then taken to a Cleveland hospital and released on Saturday after undergoing tests, which all came back as normal.

Stuckey returned home to Detroit for further testing and a panel of three doctors on Wednesday cleared him to return to a progressive exercise program.

The third-year pro is averaging 17.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists over 62 games this season.
