Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs have signed offensive lineman Jon Asamoah, one of their third-round picks in April's draft.

Asamoah, a 6-foot-4, 305-pound guard, was selected 68th overall out of Illinois. He started 37 of 42 games for the Illini, and every game in each of his last three years. The 22-year-old was a second-team All-Big Ten selection as a senior.
